Insurance Is The Only Protection For Fire Accident

Two days ago, I turned on the TV and I was watching Channels Television when I saw an NNPC petrol station on fire in Ogba. All I could think about was, I hope no one died in this fire outbreak. I went on their website and I saw pictures of damaged cars including the featured picture of this article. There would be no recourse for these victims. Which brings me to my view that car insurance is the only protection for fire accident.

Imagine you were at the petrol station when the fire started, with chaos everywhere, the roads in and out blocked as we are wont to do due to our impatience. The fire rapidly devouring everything within reach aided by the petrol pumps present, making it very potent and deadly. You are sitting in your car worth N3 million and that was when Dollar was $1 to N360. Now Dollar is trading at $1 to N500. Which means you would need about N4,000,000.00 now to replace that car due to the devaluation of Naira.
